Blake Lively and New York cover star Ryan Gosling are seemingly determined not to let Jakey G and Taylor Swift steal all the are-they-really-dating spotlight. As Ryan celebrated the premiere of his latest movie, Blue Valentine, at the Standard Hotel, Blake slipped in oh-so-sneakily through a back entrance to join him and the party, where the pair stayed close and couple-y throughout the event. Afterwards, they dined together at the Standard Grill on, of all things, oysters. Which says it all, really. The rest of this week’s sightings straight ahead.

Asellina: Late for the post-premiere dinner of his new film The Company Men, Tommy Lee Jones explained he’d been caught up filming Men in Black III. [Page Six/NYP]

At his manager’s birthday party at Hotel Griffou, Kanye West and pals dined on chef David Santos’s buffalo turkey wings (and drank pear rosemary juleps) in the restaurant’s private wine vault space. After the meal, Kanye serenaded the crowd with a freestyled interpretation of the classic birthday refrain. Meanwhile Charice Pempengco (who plays Rachel Berry’s Glee rival Sunshine Corazon) sang for his supper at the Darby, belting out Michael Buble’s “Sway” and the Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There” to a full house at the restaurant. This week’s non-musical celebrity sightings straight ahead.

This week saw close to the spectrum of celebrity birthday parties. Meg Ryan had a low-key celebration with friends and daughter Daisy at Serendipity 3, whereas Gerard Butler (true to form, perhaps?) marked turning 41 with raucous crowds at the Darby. Sample punch line from comedian James Smith: “Gerard, your chemistry with Jennifer Aniston was like the sexual chemistry between Regis and Kelly.” Things were seemingly less jovial for Anne Hathaway, whose birthday dinner with her boyfriend and folks was cut short by what fellow diners saw as a crying jag. Those sightings (plus plenty of non-birthday ones) straight ahead.

After the premiere of the new film The King’s Speech this week, guests dined at Forty Four, the Royalton Hotel’s restaurant. An unfortunate Champagne spillage doused a guest’s dress, but Rachel Roy came to the rescue in the ladies’ bathroom: She dabbed the dress dry and suggested the now just-a-little-bit-damp lady play off the slightly alcoholic odor as a designer perfume (the YSL scent, Champagne, to be specific). Meanwhile, at another post-premiere party for The Next Three Days, a fan of Rainn Wilson’s Office alter ego Dwight Shrute showed him the stack of pancakes a Virginia diner had produced in his honor — the Shrute Stack. Rainn loved the photo, but asked the fan to send the image to his assistant’s e-mail, refusing to give out his own address because he “didn’t trust” her. We think he was joking. The rest of this week’s celeb spotting straight ahead.

BLT Bar & Grill: After attending VH1’s Save the Music, John Mayer, Pete Wentz, and Joel Madden split red wine and French fries — very rock-star chic indeed. [People]

As the director at the helm of the big screen adaptation of much-loved The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann has some important casting choices ahead of him. Over a lunch at Café Gitane, he talked with Leonardo DiCaprio, who’s rumored for the role of Jay Gatsby; then later in the week, Leo brought Blake Lively to dinner with Baz and pals at the Lion, so perhaps she’s in the running for Daisy Buchanan’s part? (Rumors that Leo and Blake left the meal together are in a whole other gossip-sphere.) Now, the rest of this week’s sightings.

Bar Pitti: Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi took her six-month-old daughter, Krishna, to lunch. [INFDaily]

Sad news indeed: A crop of most eligible bachelors might just be taking themselves off the market this week. Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift continue to scandalize the tabloids with outings and “dates,” making their much-rumored relationship semi-public. The morning after the pair attended the SNL after-party (together?), they enjoyed a slow weekend brunch at Park Slope’s Al Di Là. Meanwhile, Ryan Kwanten charmed the wait staff (and no doubt his date, too) with cutesy antics while at the Stanton Social for dinner — at one point he was even dancing in his chair. Adrien Grenier amped up the romance factor with a fireside table for his lucky lady at La Lanterna di Vittorio. The rest of this week’s celebrity sightings straight ahead.

It might have been a slow week when it comes to “legitimate” celebrities dining out in NYC, but we can always rely on reality stars making an appearance, if not a scene, for the cameras. Donald Trump’s motley crew of would-be apprentices hawked pizza at Famiglia’s in the Village for their first task, where the ladies’ team (whose members include La Toya Jackson, Niki Taylor, and RHOA’s NeNe Leakes) supposedly charged $1000 a slice. Meanwhile, Nene’s fellow housewives from New Jersey were at Planet Hollywood for an event celebrating their roles in the cast of My Big Gay Italian Wedding. The rest of this week’s sightings straight ahead.

Is it any wonder Keanu’s sad? His attempt at a quiet meal out with friends at the Old Homestead Steakhouse this week was interrupted twice by overeager fans — his party was eventually forced to move upstairs to the restaurant’s second-floor space to get away from it all. Then poor Mariah Carey was forced to walk a full flight of (two) stairs in heels while leaving hubby Nick Cannon’s East Coast birthday party at Lavo. It’s sohard to be a celebrity diner in the city, but here’s who else we spotted braving it this week.

Abe & Arthur’s: Michael Phelps challenged LPGA star Cristie Kerr to a round of golf at Abe & Arthur’s first birthday bash last Friday. [Page Six/NYP]

Jamba Juice: No photo op goes unturned for the Kardashian sisters, who worked smooth moves over smoothies. [Zimbio]
Kenmare: A glamorous blonde caught A-Rod’s attention while he joined a group of friends for a drink at Kenmare — notably, said blonde was not Cameron Diaz. [Page Six/NYP]
Lavo: Despite the rumors that she might well be eating for two, Mariah Carey stayed away from the food at husband Nick Cannon’s birthday party. At least until she left, when she ordered cheese ravioli to go. [NYDN]
Old Homestead Steakhouse: Excessive fan attention forced Keanu Reeves and his party to move tables twice at the Old Homestead, as models and groupies badgered him for photos and autographs. [NYDN]
Osteria Morini: Gawker’s Nick Denton dined with Ari Melber at Michael White’s new dining venue. [Grub Street]

Breaking up may be hard to do, but the aftermath? Perhaps not so much. SNL co-stars and newly minted couple Abby Elliott and Fred Armisen &#8212 who is still pretty fresh out of his separation with Elisabeth Moss &#8212 engaged in some PDA on a date at Riposo’s uptown location. Downtown at the Lion, Jim Carrey (who split with Jenny McCarthy a few months back) and Noah Emmerich took two ladies on a double date. The rest of this week’s celebrity dates, birthdays, and random lunches, straight ahead.

There may well have been hair in Lady Gaga’s food at the Oak Room this week, because she wore a coat made of it to dinner. After her meal, she sang at the bar for her fellow diners, because that’s the sort of thing she does. And while it wasn’t in her food exactly, poor Katie Couric dealt with seeing a cockroach on the banquette near her table at Shun Lee for lunch. She tweeted her horror; restaurant staff soon squashed the issue quite literally.

Bottega Del Vino: Ex-Mets star Keith Hernandez enjoyed some serious kissy-kissy action on a date at the Midtown wine bar and restaurant. [Page Six/NYP]

Also at the restaurant, recently reconciled couple Stephanie Seymour and Peter Brant enjoyed the pleasure of each other’s company all over again at dinner. [Page Six/NYP]

Midtown’s newly opened dining hot spot Lavo celebrated its launch this week and among the guests was Joe Manganiello, who opted for a no-carbs meal made up just for him. That’s proof abs like this take some serious dedication. Then downtown at the Lion, Cameron Diaz was concentrating on boyfriend Alex Rodriguez’s form — she watched a game on a mini-TV at her table with friends, before joining him later to commiserate the Yankees loss at 1Oak.
