Even though Steve Hanson met plenty of opposition when he went before CB2's SLA committee the other week, last night Community Board 2 approved his application for a bar/tavern license that will cover a smaller, casual spot next door to Strip House. The stipulation: He needs to close at 2 a.m., as opposed to the 4 a.m. closing time he was seeking. Hanson himself was a no-show.
