The Lo-Down has the latest on Grand Park, the restaurant with glass-enclosed back patio that Jesse Hartman of Two Boots and Mo Pitkin's wants to bring to the notoriously vacant Isabella’s Oven space. After six months, Hartman hasn’t yet signed a lease, meaning that although he had already gotten the Community Board's blessing for the project, he'll now have to go in front of them again, this time with a particularly vocal opponent facing off against him. For his part, Hartman has banded with restaurateurs who own “numerous respected restaurants worldwide and are well-funded.”
