After the Times ran a slideshow from inside Lincoln’s kitchen, GQ does the same, but even better than the slideshow is a video in which Benno teaches Alan Richman how to make spaghetti al pomodoro and eggplant alla parmigiana. For a food critic, Richman is amusingly wide-eyed: “Can I stop a moment? Why the hell do people put bay leaf in food? What does it do?” [GQ]
