Spike Mendelsohn of the Funny Hats has sold a book, and no, it’s not Spike and Andrew’s Guide to Bromance. It’s a cookbook based on recipes from his D.C. burger joint, Good Stuff Eatery (which he tells us he’s planning to bring to New York!). It sold in what’s described as a “nice deal,” meaning somewhere under $50,000. Look for him shilling it on a future season of Top Chef. And while we’re at it, congratulations to newlywed Sam Talbot.
